Some germs can live on surfaces for days. A few simple disinfecting tips can help protect your family by stopping the spread of these germs.

General Disinfecting Tips

Disinfecting Spray

To disinfect (kill germs on surfaces):

  • For pre-cleaned surfaces: Spray 2 to 3 seconds until covered with mist. Allow to stand for 10 minutes to air dry.
  • For hard non-porous food contact surfaces: Spray until covered with mist, let stand for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

To control and prevent mold and mildew and their odors:

  • Spray pre-cleaned surface until covered with mist
  • Allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes
  • Let air dry
  • Repeat application in weekly intervals or when mold and mildew growth appears.

Disinfecting All-Purpose and Bathroom Cleaners

To disinfect:

  • Pre-clean surface
  • Spray/apply to surface until thoroughly wet.
  • Leave product on surface for 10 minutes before wiping.

For mold and mildew control on nonporous surfaces:

  • Spray on pre-cleaned surface until thoroughly wet
  • Allow surface to remain wet for 3 minutes
  • Let air dry
  • Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mold and mildew growth appears

Disinfecting Wipes

To disinfect hard non-porous, non-food-contact surfaces:

  • Pre-clean surface
  • Use enough fresh towelettes to thoroughly wet surfaces
  • Allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes
  • Allow surface to air dry
  • Toss dirty wipes away
