Children are our future, and it is important that they learn how to live healthy, happy lives. Our programs are developed specifically for schools with materials to motivate students to strive for better health and improve school attendance.
The LYSOL Mission for Health extends from our homes to our communities and beyond. Helping ensure children's health while they are at school, at home or wherever they go is an integral part of this mission. Children are our future, and it is important that they learn how to live healthy, happy lives.
That is why Lysol is partnering with the Canadian Institute of Child Health to teach young children how and when to wash their hands - one of the most important things a child can do to help prevent illness and help stop the transmission of germs.
William! Won't You Wash Your Hands?© is an easy-to-use resource kit that can be used to teach young children how and when to wash their hands. The kit contains a storybook about William, a young boy who is "too busy" to wash his hands until he is taught why it is important and discovers hand washing can be fun, too! The kit also includes posters, a resource booklet and resource sheets for educators and resource sheets for staff with hand washing advice and information on infection control in schools and child care programs. The kit contents were reviewed by experts in the field of early learning and care, public health, infection control, and pediatric medicine.
