I have bought 3 no touch soap dispensers. The first one worked for a couple of months before is started dispensing all the soap. the second and third i don't think it lasted a week. i have tried to change batteries and nothing. I really like the idea of a no thouch system however I will not buy this again.

Im only into the begining of my second bottle and the dispenser is already malfunctioning! I wave my hand and it just makes a weird clicking noise. I have also already purchased more refills but now i cannot use them. Would it be possible to get a replacement dispenser? If not i intend on returning my recent refill purchase and won't be able to recommend this product to friends and family.

I bought one of these and it works like a dream. I like it so much i bought another one. The second one thou is the biggest headache I've ever had, it doesn't dispense the soap like the first one and it eats batteries like crazy.

I have 3 of these and they all do the same thing everyone else seems to be complaining about. We change the batteries and the red light flashes non-stop and it dispenses soap for no reason. Very disappointed in this product. Now I see there is a Kitchen version but I am afriad to waste more money.

I received one for Christmas, and thought it was wonderful. Shortly after Christmas, there always seemed to be a little puddle of soap on the bathroom counter and the red light always flashed. Changed batteries and it worked for a little while. Then it happened again!!! I would not recommend this product to anyone. The refills are to expensive for it to end up on the counter.......

We have four of these units and have been using them ever since they were introduced. They work very well and they are perfect for 'little' hands (our grandchildren) as they are fascinated by the device and want to wash their hands after using the bathroom. We have had no issues with them. I would definitely agree with leenel's comments on the motion sensor cleaning though - it needs to be done. We use alkaline batteries which seem to last the longest.

Mine is almost 6months and in 4th refill it keeps on blinking and not dispensing any soap, so I change the batteries but the problems did not solve. then I searched google I found this very helpful site. http://fritteritter.hubpages.com/hub/Fix-Blinking-Lysol-Soap-Dispenser-Red-Light, I just clean the motion sensor then viola. It works like new.

I was thinking of buying one, but with all the reviews....I don't think I will. They are expensive, as well as the refills, and if it dies and you change the batteries and it no longer works.....that's a waste of money. Maybe Lysol should look at fixing this problem, rather than sending people to "Contact". What good will that do? I've read more complaints than praise.

I'm having the same problem my units I'm on my third one after I replace the batteries the red light keeps flashing but will not pump any soap so I too have gone back to the hand pups.

Why are all these people AND MYSELF having to go out and get new units when it clearly shows me that this unit maybe a good idea BUT IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!
One would think that Lysol having a good company brand name would recall ALL THESE UNITS and FIRST THE PROBLEM then REPLACE EVERYONE'S DEFECTIVE UNITS.
Until then I would STRONGLY suggest that the buying public BOYCOTT AND FACEBOOK/TWEETER the Lysol brand name!!

Absolutely love the concept, but have had to purchase 7 or 8 units, the very first units lasted the longest, since then they only last until the batteries die. What I don't understand is why no one appears to have heard anything from the company since this is obviously widespread issue.

Same as most everyone else. Good concept, faulty product.
Dispenses way too much soap which I guess is good if you're in the business of selling soap but gets an adverse reaction from customers. No way to set the dispenser to limit the amount of times it pumps. Won't buy any more soap. Will likely throw away the dispenser. Lesson learned.

Ive had the soap pump about 3 months in our kitchen. Put in new batteries about 2 weeks ago and has now started pumping out soup when we turn the kitchen light off. This thing is really not worth the money and it pumps out to much soap. Now going back to our old pump .

My family loves this product. But after a while, the soap starts dispensing on it's own and wasted a whole refill. We changed the batteries thinking it was that but it still did it so we had to turn it off to save the soap. Has this happened to anyone else?

I do love this product but the soap has been dispensing approximately 4 or 5 times as much soap as usual. It only start about two months after I had to change the battery I have run out of the soap need more. Not sure what's happening it's working when no one is discharging it, any solutions to this?

We have used them extensively for about 3 months, then things started to go wrong. Red lights flashing, ejecting of soap for no reason, 3 different changes of batteries each, finally having to turn them off and resort to another means of dispensing soap. They did work great at first and I didn't have a problem refilling them either by other means. Too bad though and I see by the comments I am not alone. What is the problem with the product and how will it be resolved??

I have 1 at every sink in the house, love it! Recently, the 1 at my kitchen sink started running the contents into the sink without anyone being near it... changed the batteries, no change... Looks like they are not designed to last too long. We will buy another, but not if this continues!!!

My family absolutely loves this dispenser. The ease of the automatic dispensing makes a big difference during food preparation. However, lately it's been giving me some problems. It turns itself on when no one is near it and in some cases, we've had to turn it 'off' to save the soap. We changed the battery thinking that this may of been the problem but that didn't help. Any ideas why this is happening?

Love the product, we have one at every sink in our home. I agree with the other reviewers that the big issue is the inability to refill the soap container, which runs out quickly. A refillable dispenser would be great. We have actually figured out a way to do this but you can only refill twice before the cap refuses to stay on. Alternative if not refillable, then at least selling the soap containers in larger sizes and in bulk through Costco would be a good idea.

After assembling the product and installing the batteries I was disappointed to find out it didn't work- no light. If the batteries are dead I will notbuy new ones because of the added expense. Too bad.

We were really impressed with the product until it stopped working about two weeks after purchase. The red light continually blinked, changed the batteries, cleaned the soap nozzle, nothing. Finally gave up and threw it out.

I didnt receive my coupon in my newspaper and I contacted the local paper. I was told that smart source is only sending the coupons to people in the city limits. I am a subscriber to the newspaper and I dont think it is fair that I wont get a free coupon. The newspspaer told me that i should contact Lysol regarding the issue. Pourquoi l'annoncez-vous encore à la télé le 27 juillet, c'est ridicule, façon d'offrir quelque chose de gratuit, mais de ne pas en donner beaucoup, bon marketing, mais comme vous pourrez le voir, pas très rentable, qui va racheter des recharges, c'était ça le but, donner un distributeur, mais le receveur rachète des recharges...

Also, I hate it when corporations say they are trying to make life better, yet they don't do anything to help with the problem of over packaging and waste, make the soap dispenser, or the soap container refillable, so people won't be tossing he plastic empties and all that plastic into the garbage !!!! AS the soap container is not that large and with 3 or 4 people using it it runs out in no time !

@ Lori, it would be nice if they made the soap dispenser without all the stickers on it and if they made it refillable! If you cannot find refills, then drill a hole right in the top center where the little indent is, and refill with a clear liquid hand soap (not a cream soap or it will clog). I tried this and it works fine........better than buying their expensive refills that you cannot seem to find !

After placing the soap in the dispenser and waiting for the flashing light to go off, the unit started smoking and the plastic in the front starting melting; this could have been a serious fire hazard not to mention the significant residual odor from the melted plastic that lingered in the house for 2 hours. the company sent me ONE coupon to get a new product, and a stamp to send back the defective one. Not likely I'll buy one of these again.

Hi! I just purchased your Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser and I just love it! I have put it in my kitchen where I think it will get the best use. I have never seen a product that eats batteries as fast as this one. 4 DURACELL batteries only lasted a couple days. The replacement ones we put in lasted about 2 minutes before they died. I will not buy this product again. Solve the battery problem and the product will be a great concept, but I am not going to keep feeding batteries into it. This product is garbage. What ever happened to Product Quality Control??

Le coupon ete dans le livret SmartSource le 5 mars passe. Je pense que Lysol a fait une erreure avec la date.
In any case, I like the system very much! I was concerned it would be too sensitive and go off every time I reached for the tap, but that's not the case. It is well programmed. I think it would be better for consumers in the long run if it took only 2 batteries, instead of 4. Thanks for the free offer, I appreciate it!

I purchased two of your automatic soap dispensers last year. I found that every time I shut the light off in the bathroom, the dispenser cycles waisting my soap. I don't know how long this has been happening because I thought it was my daughter wasting the soap. I have since apologized to my daughter.

J'utilise déjà: Nettoyant Lysol pour cuvette et Nettoyant pour salle de bain. Pour ce qui est de ce dernier, j'ai prêté mon contenant à ma voisine et elle en a acheté et continue de l'utiliser.J'utilise aussi :Vapoeisateur Désinfectant LYSOL.
Je suis satisfaite de ces 3 produits.

Love this item however, my son knocked it into the sink while washing his hands and water got into the battery area and it never worked again.
Maybe you could find a way to better protect the area as it is made to be around kids and water and as I said, one dunking and it was no longer usable.

I have had this since it hit the store's a year ago,just love it. I have NEVER had any problems with it. Just replaced the batteries 2 weeks ago. There are 2 adults & 3 children ages 2 to 6 using it and never a mess. I bought one for my son's kindergarten class which is used by 20 little ones every day with out a problem. The soap is gentler on their little hands.

It also cost more money buying this because you have to replace the batteries every so often, then at times, yes the soap just decides to pour out on its own, another mess to clean up :(.... It just needs more work on it. So for now even if you wanted to give it for FREE i would pass on it for just a regular hand pump soap. It was fun while it lasted, thank you for your new products and i will continue using other Lysol products :) Happy Cleaning :)'

I found a way though how to take the cover off carefully and refill it with cheaper hand soap that is still disinfecting for your family, or you can do what the other person did and drill a hole :)....but i don't like the idea of having a hole, it may let germs enter in the soap.

Yes we could keep it up away from younger kids but then what is the purpose of even having it if it has to be turned off all the the time or put away. Also the refills are pricey, i know that it is Lysol and is a healthy soap but for regular people out there who would like to try wont be able to buy that all the time.

At first i thought is was neat, but then with younger kids being around its a hassle, yes you can turn it off at the back but then the older ones will have to turn it back on to use it and then sometimes forget to turn it off making the younger ones keeping there hands underneath and letting soap pour out a lot.

I bought this just before Xmas 2010. First thing we noticed is it poured way too much soap out every time and quickly emptied the bottle. So I drilled a hole in the bottle and refilled it.
Often the light would flash red, stop working. Sometimes it would eject soap for no reason and had to be turned off. February 21 it just stopped working and in the trash it went.
Money badly spent, buyer beware. My opinion, junk.

I love it and think it is a great idea but that's probably because I only have to push my kitchen tap up, not turn it on. And the refills are way too expensive for soap that goes way too fast. Great idea but needs perfecting....just not so much that I have to get another unit.

Mine went literally down the drain!! What a waste of $$!!!

We bought this before reading here and then also thought to our self you will not kill 99.9 germs if you still have to touch your taps to turn them off, so we never used it and brought it back to the store not worth the money.

I really liked the idea...but I agree the system doesnt work very well. Whenever anyone walks by the bathroom or as soon as you turn the light on it dispenses soap on the counter. I thought the batteries would needed replacing and now that I have replaced them the dispenser isnt working at all. If I still had the bill I would return it or at least replace it.

I really like the idea of this, but it really doesn't work all that well. The sensor is so sensitive, that everytime I turn on the light in the bathroom, it dispenses all over my countertop! I'm constantly wiping down my counters otherwise I end up with dried up globs of soap all over. Really not worth the money!

I think that the system sucks!!!! I have had nothing but problems with the two I bought, mine use batteries and only work once after replacing the batteries. They were a big waste of money and if I could return them I would!!!!!!

Refillable.....if you take a screw driver and pry off the top, you can refill the container.....I just did it as mine was empty and I tried it and it works.....

This is a wonderful product, we have one in each bathroom and one in the kitchen. What would make it better though is if the bottles in the dispensers were refillable and there were large refill bottles/pouches available. This would be more economical for households (4.99 for 1 cup of soap is really pricey) and environmentally friendly.
