Yes. To kill odor-causing bacteria on soft surfaces: spray a light even coating on fabric until wet. DO NOT SATURATE. Let air dry. For difficult odors or heavy fabrics, repeat application. Reapply as necessary. Do not use on leather, silk, rayon acetate or satin fabrics. Always test on a hidden area of fabric.

Lysol® Disinfectant Spray deodorizes by killing odour causing bacteria on surfaces. This stops odours where they start - directly on surfaces! Please use as directed.

Lysol® Disinfectant Spray eliminates the following bacteria, fungi, and viruses from hard, non-porous surfaces*:

    Viruses:

    Avian Influenza A (H1N1)

    Influenza A Virus (New Caledonia/20/99), Influenza B Virus (Strain B/Hong Kong/5/72)

Rhinovirus: the leading cause of the common cold

Rotavirus: the leading cause of infectious diarrhea in children

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV): the leading cause of lower respiratory infection in children

SARS-COV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19)

    Bacteria:

    Staphylococcus aureus (Staph)

    Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

    Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep)

    Escherichia coli O157:H7 (E. coli)

    Salmonella enterica (Salmonella)

    Campylobacter jejuni

    Klebsiella pneumoniae

    Mold

    Mildew

    Trichophyton mentagrophytes (Athlete's Foot Fungus)

*always read and follow the label

For hard non-porous food contact surfaces and for children’s toys: rinse thoroughly with potable water. To sanitize: let stand for 30 seconds. To deodorize: spray on surfaces as needed. To control and prevent mold & mildew: pre-clean hard, non-porous surfaces. Spray surface and allow to remain wet for 10 minutes. Allow surfaces to air dry. Repeat applications in weekly intervals or when mold and mildew growth appears. Do not use on polished wood, painted surfaces or acrylic plastics.

Hard surface disinfectants, like Lysol® Disinfectant Spray, are regulated by and registered with Health Canada. Health Canada sets the product’s standards and guidelines to make disinfectant claims and also specifies the actual test methods required to support claims against bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

A sanitizer is a product that demonstrates a three log (or 99.9%) reduction of bacteria and a disinfectant demonstrates a six log (or 99.99%) reduction of micro-organisms. Lysol® Disinfectant Spray met both criterion and therefore is labelled “kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses”.
